PRECEDENT
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of Antonio Canova, a major exhibition is devoted to the renowned sculptor at the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, his hometown.
The goal of this exhibition, is to be the meeting point between his painting, sculpture and architecture; as well as a common thread that confronts other artists and contemporary works based on his contribution.
CONCEPT
Canova's entire oeuvre emerges from naturalism and idealisation, hence the name of the exhibition L’anima della natura. This is the fundamental reason for his art: the love of nature and the overcoming of the ideal to transform it into beauty.
The narrative concept is articulated into three halls, showcasing the gaze and interpretation of nature (1-2), and its relationship with architecture (3). Furthermore, a reinterpretation of the Tempio di Canova, designed by himself, is used as the main structure of the staging.

BRANDING
The visual language reflects the exhibition's simplicity and elegance. The creation of the brand was born from the logo, the words "soul" and "nature" were highlighted from L'anima della natura.
The brand building process, and all the aspects involved were carefully thought out to have a strong and consistent design style – from the ticket, flyer, brochure and posters, to the website, billboards and merchandise.
